DATE:    1976

TIME:     2200 hours

LOCATION:   Texas, Brazoria County

TERRAIN:    Wooded, swampy

OBSERVED:    In 1976 my soon to be husband and I had camped out awaiting his father to come into camp. We waited quite a while and heard some really strange sounds, like a baby crying. The cattle that had been  laying on the other side of the fence suddenly got up and left.  There were many birds roosting in the trees, they took off quite suddenly also.  We waited for a bit and saw something messing with the fence. We decided to leave.  When we stopped, it stopped and so on.  This went on for quite a while. We went to his grandparents house and they were fast asleep. We settled into my husbands camper, door locked and something knocked over a very heavy trash barrel.  We lay there all night soaking wet till early in the morning.  The next morning his uncle came to his grandparents house and said there was something messing around his house. Later that day my husband and his father found limbs broken all along and strange three toed prints.

Activities of Witness:   Camping

Description of Creature:  We saw a large shadow in the moonlight.  Don't know what it was.
