REPORT RECEIVED: From the GCBRO Online Report Submission Form

DATE:  1979

TIME:  after 10:00 pm

LOCATION:   Johnson County, Texas, 4 miles off of highway 174, 17 miles south west form Fort Worth,40 miles from Lake Worth!

TERRAIN:   Wooded

OBSERVED:    Where i used to live was out in the rural part of the county where it wasn't as developed as it is today. We lived on a slope on a hill, and at the bottom of the hill about 50 yards from the road was a dry creek bed that when it rained hard it would get real swollen and start to flood up to 50 feet from the road. We had just gone through a week of rain and i'm sure the creek was already holding some water, and it was late at night sometime after 10:00 p.m. when my sister and i were watching some t.v. and all the sudden all the neighborhood dogs (including mine) started to go crazy, my sister got up to check and when she came back she had told me she saw a large white form that was on all fours suddenly stood up and took off running
on two legs toward the creek. Although i didn't believe her for a long time, because we had all sorts of animals roaming about out there, and i thought she was trying to trick & scare me. so i remained somewhat skeptical then i got the internet and eventually came across several sites about bigfoot and found out about the lake worth
monster. The more i read the more i got intrigued, i was always fascinated with bigfoot from an early age, but never believed i would be in the same vicinity as they were. My question is could this creature be the same creature spotted in lake worth area back in the late sixties. I no longer live in the area in question, and have never heard anymore about that night.

Description of Creature:   N/A
