Report Received From: The Field Research Notes of GCBRO Field Researcher Al Hicks.

DATE:    December 18, 2003

TIME:     N/A

LOCATION:   Montgomery County, Texas

TERRAIN:    Wooded

OBSERVED:    Friday evening, my girlfriend reported to me that while riding her bike in Montgomery
County, she thought she might have had an encounter.  Bear in mind that she was living with me at the time the monster was hanging out at my place.

This location, by the way, is only 3 1/2 miles from my house.

As she approached a small bridge crossing a creek, she noticed a horrible smell.  She best described it as a rotten garbage type of smell, and then she heard large sticks breaking and had a sense of fear overcome her that she could not explain.  She related it to a couple of events at my place.

Although she saw nothing, she states that she hightailed it out of there.

This happened on Thursday, the 18th of December, 2003.

Here is the follow-up:
I was not sure how much credibility to place in her story, but Sunday morning, the 21st of December, I went to the spot she had explained to me.
After I started looking around, I found an impression, that definitely looked out of place.

This impression measured about 12 inches long and about 4 1/2 to 5 inches wide.  I then saw a second impression.

I measured it to be 48 inches from the first.  Then a third, again 48 inches from the second, and a fourth, once again, 48 inches from the third.  I also found a fifth impression that was 48 inches from the fourth, but it was almost unrecognizable.

These tracks were located on a creek bank, going down into the creek.  I did notice some freshwater mussel shells on the bank, but they were old.
Across the road from this location, and about 150 yards north, is a goat farm.

The photos show some of the various measurements, and the last one is an attempt to show the tracks going down to the creek.  Due to fences and fear of trespassing, I was unable to look for any additional evidence.  I did make casts of 4 of the 5 tracks, but have yet to clean and analyze them.
Due to debris, and ground conditions, I do not expect any dermal information on these.
