LOCATION:   Newton County, Texas

TERRAIN:    Wooded

OBSERVED:

My brother and I have a camp house on the Xxxx River, close to Xxxxxxx, Texas. The camp house is on about a one acre tract and we own 30 acres across the river. I was out on our dock fishing one night when I heard an awful scream and some knocking sounds. The scream sounded like a lady screaming. I know it was not a screech owl. Because of the knocking or banging noise, I am wondering if it was a bigfoot. Needless to say, I went immediately to the camp house and did not go back out that night.

Additional Things:

One thing that was very obvious is that there was no noise, except for the screaming and knocking. Usually when out on the dock I can hear owls, fish jumping, frogs, and other noises. On this night I did not hear anything like that. It was kind of a spooky calm.

Activities of Witness:

No activities except fishing.

Description of Creature:  Did not see the creature, only heard it.

Other Notes:    N/A

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:

There was another night that I went out (October 2014) and I noticed how still and calm everything was. I did not stay outside. I went back in to the camp house.

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments N/A
