Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments GCBRO Follow-up Investigation

Bobby Hamilton and Jim Lansdale accompanied by their son's Jake, Brenden and Brady, met with the witness and his son on 04/05/2014.  We was shown the area in question, and found a few possible impressions.  We spent all afternoon in the area up until dark.  Just before dusk set in, we actually spotted several creatures in various portions of the wooded area beside the river.  One stood on the other bank approximately 125 yards away and looked in our direction.  It was jet black in color, had the crest on the top of the head, weighed approximately 300-325 pounds.  What was noted was there was other people fishing on the other side of the river, and they had no idea this creature was standing up on top of the bank back in behind them not more than about 90 yards away.  There was some cat tail type weeds and it would stand in between them and stare in our direction for a while, then step back in the woods and disappear.  Then show back up in between these weeds again to stare at us some more.  There was also a large slab of concrete that was washed out in underneath.  There was actually one sticking it's head out from under the concrete looking to see if the coast was clear so it  could exit.  It was also dark black in color.  On a subsequent trip, several different sized tracks was found.  Plans are being made to return to the area for a more in depth investigation.
