Bigfoot Sightings

OBSERVED: One morning my Dad had hunted by himself because I had to work. He drove up that morning and had arrived fairly early so decide to walk to stand and take a nap until daylight. He called before daylight and said he heard something like a elephant coming through the woods and it had gotten quite close and started howling and screaming and breaking more stuff as it went by. Said it made the hair stand up on the back of his neck. I asked him if he saw anything and he said it was still dark and he was waiting on daylight to get the heck out of there. All he could do was shove back from window, did not want to know what that was, scared him. I asked him if it was hogs, He said no he hunts hogs and knows what they sound like and he had never heard anything like this. Wanted to let me know he was leaving and if he did not call me in 40 minutes to start checking on him. About 2 to 3 weeks later I had my nephew hunting with me and he hunted that stand. He called me from his cell phone quite scared and asked me to come get him, Basically he described what happen and it was pretty similar to my Dads story.

Additional things: Yes, My father-in-law hunts across the road from this area and he has stated that he has heard some growling and screams coming down the creek early morning time frame before day light. One other man hunts in that area and said one morning he was sitting down in the creek bottom just before daylight and could barely see squirrels silhouettes in the trees, when they all disappeared quickly and then he heard something howler that made him quite nervous also. These men are all in there 50`s and 60`s except for my 14 year old nephew at the time and I believe them. At times when these things happen the wildlife seems to vanish and you go looking for sign and notice a strong sour smell, Kinda like a wet dog.

Other Notes: Nope, Just have always wondered what these things were they were hearing for several years now, They still talk about it from time to time. Nothing has happen since 2005. Debated on telling anyone these stories. They would not report it, being they are old men and don't believe in such things as reported on here. Maybe a big cat is what we think, But then again they are not quite sure. Nephew would not go hunt that area after that happen, ever again. Hunted on other side of property in wide open.
