LOCATION: Bishop, Tazewell County Virginia
 
 

TERRAIN:  Mountains
 
 

OBSERVED:    I was walking home from my friend XXXXX's house, I don't like taking the main road cause of a lot of crazy people come down that road. There is a path that leads out on something like a strip job, then down the mountain to my house. At a spot where my brother and I played when we were small, like two trees side by side. I looked down and seen an old toy gun we had played with.
 
Behind me all the sudden I heard something running, kinda like it was running at me. I turned around and it was this HUGE creature unlike any other, its hair was kinda long and very wirey. It made a sound like a woman was screaming. It had a smell to it that was similar to a bag of month old potato's.
 
I ran as fast as I could to get to the bottom of the mountain to my house. I had never been more scared in my life. I told my brother to come back with me the next day.  We took our dog with us and he started barking like crazy, took off running and came back crying. The dog didn't normally do this considering it is a big dog, Doberman. My brother and I ran down the mountain to the house, and we haven't been back since.

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:  When it ran off, half of the way, on four legs, and the other on the two hind (legs), tall, wirey kinda long hair. Couldn't see its face for the hair. And it stunk dangerously, My friend XXXXXX seen the same thing.
 
 

OTHER NOTES:  My brother didn't see it, but my dog who never runs from anything came running down the mountain crying. Me and my brother then ran down with him.
