RECEIVED: From the G.C.B.R.O. Web Site Submission Form

DATE:              04/13/83

TIME:           6:00 p.m.

LOCATION:    Yakama Indian Nation, Yakima County, Washington
                   State.

TERRAIN:       Wooded

OBSERVED:   I was riding along with a friend, who was driving, when Bigfoot ran across in front of our van as we were driving home from White Swan to Glenwood.
We only seen it for about 3-4 seconds as it was running at a very fast pace, perhaps 30 mph.  It was swinging its arms as it ran from our right to left, west to east.
Since this was about twilight we had our headlights on and the light beams caught its eyes and they reflected back a green shade with slits for pupils? feline like.
It was about 10 feet tall we guessed. It had no neck so it turned its upper body towards us as we approached it from a distance of about 125 feet. Our speed was maybe
a leisurly 30 mph. It was black and running upright on two legs, we also noticed how the hair was shimmering as it ran, the length of its hair was approximately 3 inches or so.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):  Traveling in a van

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:   Estimated 10 foot tall, eyes reflected a green/pupils slit and feline-like, no neck, black in color, running upright on two legs, hair approximately 3 inches long.

OTHER NOTES:    Some logging contractors have reported sightings of these guys but they were scoffed at or ridiculed.  Many carry firearms with them in case of any chance encounter.

OTHER SIGHTINGS IN THIS AREA?:    I lived and worked with the local Yakama Indians for 8 years and they told me that the bigfoots were around as long as they been around since the beginning.
