RECEIVED: From the G.C.B.R.O. Web Site Submission Form

DATE: 07-19-95

TIME: 6:00  P.M.

LOCATION:Antigo,Wisconsin, Langlade County

TERRAIN: Rocky and heavily wooded w\ muck and ponds\streams

OBSERVED:    It wasn't the normal animal, almost lemer-like but larger, huge eyes, Conditions were horrible, stormy.   I was going to the barn.  When I looked it was stomping and smashing stuff.   It was black with a white face.  It screamed like howlish, like an owl.   I was 70 yards away.   It stared at me intensly.  I ran like a maniac.  I went back 3 minutes later to see it running, first hearing it run, then seeing it.  Ever since when I go back I take caution, taking every small noise into consideration.  I know they're back there all the time watching me and my guess is that was a juvenile and they are lots more expert hunters and hiders and hearers.  I still have some hair, rabbit like, white, soft.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:

OTHER NOTES:  Storm may have confused him and lost from his group, saw him running for something in field, swooping his arms down, picking something, up maybe?

 OTHER SIGHTINGS IN THIS AREA?: No? I'm not sure
