LOCATION:   Wisconsin, Vilas County
 

TERRAIN:    Lake/Wooded Forests/A few swampy acres nearby
 

OBSERVED:    Big ape like creature came out of the lake while I was fishing.  It was about 60-70 degrees and very foggy.  This "ape" came out of the lake about 40 yds from where I was fishing in my boat and climbed right onto the island in the lake.  I circled the island that was about an acre or two big and didn't see him the whole day.  I went back the next day and found large tracks that were about a foot and a half long.

Other Notes:    It was a very smelly area
