TIME:     2:00 PM

LOCATION:   Rankin County, Mississippi

TERRAIN:    Wooded

OBSERVED:    I have seen a panther twice behind my house and a couple years back I have heard him growl at night...  The first time I saw the panther I was walking down to our pond and picking trash from our recent storm when in the corner of my eye I saw a huge light brownish cat sprawled out over a oak that had fallen down... I tried to walk as close as I could to the cat to get a better image of it but it hopped up and ran into the woods... We have three cats at our house and I know what the normal size is for a cat it was way bigger and It could not be a bobcat because it had long tail... The second time I saw the large cat was when I was taken my Baby Sister to go swimming... Our pool had a deck wrapped around it that gave a view to our pond... I was about to get in the pool when I saw a large brownish creature in the corner of my eye... It was the cat again and I quickly as I could ran with my baby sister to the house to get a camera and get another person so I could have more witnesses that have seen the big cat... By the time I had made it back the cat was darting off into the woods... That moment I knew for a 100% fact that cat was no ordinary house cat... It was way to big. In fact it was about the size of a full-grown lab or pit bull...
