TIME:     N/A

LOCATION:   Wayne County, West Virginia

TERRAIN:    Wooded

OBSERVED:    My sister-in-law, wife of brother #2 said that she was the first up on Sunday a.m, (7-17-11), she very quietly, so as not to wake up all in the family, took a bowl of cereal to the front porch and while she was sitting there, a creature yelled 5 times from up in the hollow near brother #1's old house (that house is within eyesight of hers). This happened prior to 8 a.m. She said the yells ended with a grrrr growl sound. Needless to say, she has became a believer also!

It seems that most of the yells lately have emanated from there. Brother #1 and his wife were watching an old Leonard Nimoy, show on Netflix Saturday night, and he said there was a yell allegedly made by a Bigfoot in Washington State in 1971, which had a somewhat siren sound, that was a perfect match to the ones he and his wife heard some 3-4 wks ago from up in the hollow. He called me hoping I could get it on tape, but they had stopped by the time I was at my window trying to hear. The calls from Washington were supposedly made by a large male.

Mother has a lady that comes to help her a couple of hours each day. This lady had something happen to her and her husband this past week-end. She used to make fun of me and my Bigfoot beliefs. But she has previously had a persimmon thrown at her in my driveway (there are none close to my house) and she has heard wood knocks when she would be arriving or leaving my driveway. She said on this past Friday night (7-15-11) she and her husband went 'ridge running' some miles from their house. Its a very secluded place near a cemetery. She said from the time that they got there and her husband shut off the motor, she had goosebumps on her arms. She finally told her husband that it felt too creepy there that night and she wanted to leave. All of a sudden she said not more than a few feet from in front of their Bronco, what sounded like a "an owl, that was scared too death" let out this whooing noise but sounded strange at the end of it. Then there was the sound of breaking wood and movement. She said her husband started up the Bronco and turned on the lights, but they saw nothing, but they "got the heck out of Dodge"! As they came off the hill they were on, up ahead, they saw a red glowing object disappear around a curve in the road. They knew there had been no other vehicles there and it is so isolated that few people even know about that place. (Her husband is a logger and works near there.) Her husband put the pedal to the medal trying to see if they could get a glimpse of whatever it was, but saw nothing. That place was near a large rock outcropping and an old abandoned house that was caving in. They went back on Saturday night, and she got the same creepy feeling and goose bumps again and they both saw the red glowing object again. She said they wasted no time getting out of there and swore that they would never go there again. I told her that I thought she may have experienced some Bigfoot activity! I used to tell her that on one of their late night "ridge running" she would see or hear something that was going to give her a scare, just a matter of time! She said that they had never before experienced what they have in that place, and hope never to do so again! They don't plan on ever going back there again!
