DATE:    May 1, 2008

TIME:     1:25 A.M.

LOCATION:   Geauga County, Ohio

TERRAIN:    Swampy, There was also a lot of woods in this area!

OBSERVED:    I was fishing for Northern Pike in the upper end of the Cuyahoga River and was not having any success in catching fish. So I decided that I would pack up and head down the river where it is wider and see if I could catch anything over there.
After using the facility and eating my sandwich, I started to head out of the park driving up it's twisting driveway which leaves you out of the park. Just as I was coming around a bend in the road, about hundred feet from the park exit, off to my left something caught my eye!
Maybe 50 to 60 yards away from me entering into the swampy woods was a 6 to 7 foot Bigfoot. I only got a glimpse of him and when I grabbed my camera to take his picture my camera low battery light came on and I couldn't take his picture.
Once he entered into the woods I could not see him any longer because there was too much coverage for him to hide in. I did sense he was standing still watching me and/or waiting for me to make a move.
Not daring to confront him I left and questioned if I really saw what I thought I saw. I still cannot believe I saw Bigfoot!

Activities of Witness:   I was packing up to fish in another part of the river down the road. So I was heading out of the park.

Description of Creature:  Because it was walking in a field, I only saw the creature from the waist up, he was redish-brown with long hair. I say the creature was a he, however, I am not sure because when it turned to look at me before it entered into the woods, the face looked female or it was a young creature. It was also thin in it's shape. I didn't smell anything.

Other Notes:    No one was at the park except me. And about 15 minutes before I saw him, I saw a deer running through the woods as fast as it could run. At first I thought it was because of me but now I think it may have been chased or spooked by Bigfoot.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    N/A

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments N/A
