LOCATION:   Skamania County, Washington

TERRAIN:    Mountains

OBSERVED:    On Saturday night I was on a expedition to search for Bigfoot.  I broke off from the group to see if there was anything observing the group at the campfire.  I had a thermal imager so that I could observe anything in the darkness.  I looked for about an hour and I didn't observe anything.  I walked in the direction in which I was camped alone.  I had felt like I was being observed all of Saturday.  I looked through the imager and I saw what I thought was an orb near where I was camped.  I couldn't see it with the naked eye though.  I got up there and it was still very dark and you could hardly see your hand in front of your face.  I stood up on the bumper of my suv looking through the imager for anything that might be at the height where I was.  I looked for about 30 minutes and then I thought I saw red taillights of cars leaving camp.  I saw 3 or 4 times all within about two minutes.
I then saw the eyeflash again this time for a second or two longer than the first.  It was right on the ground this time so I knew it wasn't a car.  I looked through the imager and I couldn't see anything when the eyeshine was there.  This went on for about 20 minutes where I would see it and then it would be gone.  I returned back to the campfire and I still wasn't even sure what I saw.

Once I returned to the fire one of the members of my party told me that there was a tall figure rocking between two trees observing me.  I mentioned the eye shine that I saw and then he said that 'well that confirms my story then'.  I asked another member when the last car that came through there was and he told me there wasn't any in the last two hours.  I wasn't up there more than two hours for sure.  I kept thinking someone was playing a trick but no one brought it up when I asked.
I went to bed about 3-3:30am that morning after everything died down and I could still hear something stirring outside.  It almost sounded like it was brushing against something as it was moving.  It made a shhhhhhh sound and was very quiet as it moved around.  The next morning I looked around my tent and I did spot what looked like cat tracks but none from Bigfoot.
The dirt in this area is very dry and its hard to distinguish any activity at all so the fact that two tracks were cast while I was there was surprising to me.

Activities of Witness:   Sitting and talking.  There was some call blasting that night but it was 2 or so miles from where we were camped.

Description of Creature:  The night before was alive with activity as well.  I was told that there was a 8' figure moving through the trees (on the backside of a campsite near mine) and he stopped in mid step to look at them and gave some green eyeshine.  The figure kept on moving through the trees very quickly.  One of the members took a cast of the footprint that was found just above his camp.  He had also spotted one large one as well as a juvenile near the makeshift outhouse.  I heard what sounded like howls down near the lake and I heard short whoops as well.  I was about 1/4 mile from my camp down near the main road.  There was also another cast taken down near the lake.

Other Notes:    A figure could be heard with the (Friday night) bionic ear moving slowly the trees but you couldn't see it through the imager.  It seemed to know how to stay just out of range.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    This area has alot of activity in its history and that was the main reason it was picked.

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments N/A
