DATE:    March 31, 2007

TIME:     N/A

LOCATION:   Shelby County, Tennessee

TERRAIN:    Woods mostly, there are small hills and a river.

OBSERVED:    My girlfriend and i was awaken due to dogs barking.  Our window was on the second floor of our home.  The dogs across the street had constantly been barking for about two hours.  Then we heard a high pitched roar coming from the wooded section across the street.  I checked the internet the next morning to see if i could find that sound.  According to the web site it was a cougar that was in heat.  The sound that we heard that night was a spot on match with the one we heard on the internet.  Least to say it sent a chill down our spine.

Activities of Witness:   N/A

Description of Creature:  Did not see, just heard his roar.

Other Notes:    I believe that we also saw tracks down by the Loosahatchie River.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    There was one spotted in Tipton county Tennessee about forty miles north of my location.

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments N/A
